TITLE: Cath Lab Tech

Location: Conroe, TX

Would you want to live within an hour of Houston and have the access to a large city but live in an area that the hospital serves about 70K in the area?

What they’re looking for:

•Graduate of a school of vocational nursing or a medical radiologic technology program

•One year of clinical experience in Cardiac and Peripheral Vascular Interventions, Radiology, or related specialty preferred.

•Current licensure as an LVN and RCIS, or Radiology Technologist in the State of Texas.

•Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment, before patient care is administered independently. Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 90 days of employment.

Hours and compensation potential:

•The position if full time day shift.

•Hourly range is $35.00hr-$45.00hr depending on experience.

•A full benefits package included as well as a 20K sign-on bonus.

What you’ll be doing:

•Under general supervision of the RN, the Cath Lab Technologist assists in procedures, prepares patients for procedures (IV placement, blood collection, and site preparation),

•Reviews patient chart to ensure consents and appropriate labs are in place,

•Monitors patients post-procedure (site management, vital sign and telemetry monitoring).

•Will ensure high quality, effective patient care, while working collaboratively to integrate the goals of facility.

•The Cath Lab Technologist functions as a member of the heart and vascular team.
